Welcome to a site dedicated to promoting writers, indie publishers and booksellers, trusting readers to be their own gatekeepers.
When I was a child, I became fascinated at stories could transport a reader into new and exciting places to experience fantastical adventures and learn new things at the same time. I soon loved the freedom this brough because through reading I could slay dragons, rescue damsels and visit far off civilsation through space and time.
Samll wonder then that I had a childhood notion of becoming an author.
Though I grew to pursue various ambitions, I've always loved writing as my many penfriends and now email friends will tell you. As a teenage I would forego lunch to afford the stamps I need to post letters back in the day. Then, one day, I decide to try my hand at writing a novel.
Then, alas and alack, I learned about a closed club that decide what people read and hence what books are sold and therefore which writers get published. Known as the gatekeepers, they have served a purpose in maintaining certain standards and have no doubt profitted the commercial aspect of books. However, readers and writers deserve to have variety of choice and unbridled freedom over genres, styles and stories. Thus,
